Here’s 5 beliefs and values which help you to live a successful life and business
A healthy and successful (Happiness) life and business requires balance.
I have been studying and learning from the best for the past few years, in a new way, which is helping me to apply new values to my own life and business.
In my blog, I will share real life experiences, and other articles, that you can apply to your own life and business.
From all of my study and observations of people who are living a success life and business, they all share these similar beliefs, values and approaches.
I have developed my own list of what I think we all need to achieve a great life and business.
If you focus on what you are grateful for, and appreciate what you have, then it grows. For example, if you focus on your achievements that you have reached on a daily basis, this will keep the correct focus going forward. What you have achieved will grow even more, and the team which you work with will move in the right direction.
In business, the rule is truth and honesty; if you have this, you can build good and lasting relationships with all of your right clients. This is the foundation to relationship building, and even if you make mistakes, you can always correct them when you are truthful with your client, because they will always respect your honesty.
When you respect yourself, and what you offer in your business, or your job role, the people around you, and your clients, will respect what you do for them. A respecting mindframe always provides you the way to show the value chain in what it is that you are doing. When you respect your clients, you listen to their needs, and it brings a sense of integrity to your relationship with yourself, and with your customers.
This is the most important tool you can possess in your business/life or job role; the key to awareness is not to know it all, and in fact it is about constant learning each day. Awareness always allows you to grow, and you can do this daily, by allowing time to review what you are doing. Each day, allow time for awareness, a mindframe in which you can bring improvements to any situation you encounter. The key to awareness is to stop what you are doing, and take time to really think about what you are doing. You can try these four questions and apply them to a situation:
- What was the outcome of what we were doing?
- How can we improve this moving forward?
- What information can help us to improve?
- What people can help us to achieve this?
All success requires good communication in all areas of your business. If you have this, you can achieve a good team and happy customers. It requires you to value your product/service, and your customers. It also requires you to listen to yourself, your team and your customer. You can ask yourself a question in any situation… are you listening to your reactions, or are you truly listening to what is being said? Listening to your customers is the key to building relationships, and this requires constant improvement, training and awareness. Fact finding is the key to listening, and any sale/development where I have achieved excellent results in the past has always happened because I prepped and planned, and did my fact find correctly. Fact finding is listening to customers’ needs, and when a customer decides to buy, the physiological process is called : needs appreciated = listening to the customer/s.
- Every meeting that you have, or encounter with a customer, or work colleague, you can make improvements by performing this process after every meeting:
- Did I listen to what they said?
- Did I ask the right questions?
- Did I react or was I completely present in the moment?
- How can I better prepare myself for my next meeting?
- What can I do to contribute my skills in the next meeting?
- How can I better listen to his or hers needs?
All of these values and beliefs belong to people who are healthy, and who have a successful business & life.
